Progressive Yoga New

Take your practice to the next level! Learn a more challenging series of postures and advance your practice in an energising group environment. Our Progressive class is the most dynamic evening class on our timetable. Not recommended for total beginners but those with a regular practice. Within the structure of the sequences you will also work on inversions such as handstands and headstands, deeper backbends and more complex , challenging variations of postures , pranayama and meditation.
Yoga helps to develop strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, increase energy, and enhance the ability to deal with stress. When students undertake a more regular practice, it’s important they know how to respond to the body as it is in the moment, and not be attached to where they would like it to be in the future or where it was in the past. In this way, students learn to generate energy rather than block it, with the focus on meditative flow, to ultimately create a practice that gives the best benefits long term. We also recommend committing to at least one other class per week to fully benefit from this class’s progressive nature.
