Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00am- 7:30am
This is an Ashtanga style class.
Arrive between 6 and 6.30am to start your practice. Practice space closes at 7.30am.
You will be instructed individually and taught 1 posture at a time in a specific sequence, empowering you to remember the postures and work at your own pace.
Your practice will build one step at a time as your body unfolds and you are ready for the next posture according to your individual requirements.
The practice emphasises movement with breath, this creates heat in the body which ignites the bodies natural ability to detoxify on a mental, physical and emotional level.
Over time, through regular practice you will experience benefits such as strength, flexibility and a sharp mind.

Franziska is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. In her teaching she focuses on foundation and awareness. She offers a variety of yoga postures and cycles which create an energetic body and mental well-being. Franziska likes to guide the students through postures that have a stimulating, energizing, calming, internally soothing effect and increase the capability to concentrate.
True to the Iyengar yoga style she likes to help the students to experience a gradual understanding of their bodies and to increase their ability to focus, observe and to relax. She truly strives to create an enjoyable and stimulating practice session for students to become stronger and more flexible, which brings with it better adjustment to different life situations and improves health. She also shows genuine concern for injury and offers solid advice for working around the injury.

A Balanced Practice Yoga

Liz’s A Balanced Practice Yoga classes give students the tools to evolve not only their asana practice but to cultivate insight into the heart of the yoga tradition. Rather than a set system, A Balanced Practice is an interweaving of different perspectives which helps to keep the body and mind fluid and adaptable to change. These classes encourage students to open the physical sheaths of the body, witness thought patterns and develop a great capacity to sense and feel.
A Balanced Practice Yoga classes are intelligent, innovative classes that are powerful and therapeutically balanced, blending yogic philosophy and insight into the energetic body with the subtle or “secret” tools of yoga . These classes offer each student an integrated , peaceful and expansive inner experience of breath, body and mind, cultivating vibrant mental and physical health.

Donna teaches a gentle style of yoga that is accessible to all. The classes encourage a deep reconnection to oneself via “the feeling sense”. The classes work at building strength and flexibility in a way that nurtures and encourages gentleness in the body. The practise works by releasing nervous tension, anxiousness and hardness in the body so you begin to experience true harmony. A joyful, restorative, meditative class that nourishes your whole being.

Sports Recovery Yoga
Tuesdays 6- 7:00pm
This class is ideal for anyone who thinks they are too tight, or not flexible enough for yoga!
Senior yoga teacher, Valli Simpson, tailors this class to people who train hard and play hard in their chosen activity – whether that surfing, running, cycling, paddling or golf.
By participating in the class you will gain increased flexibility and range of motion, healthier joints,
an improvement in balance and joint stability, increased focus and calmness of mind.
Reduced soreness and recovery time are welcome benefits of a regular yoga practice, as is injury prevention, a calmer nervous system, lowered stress levels and a stronger immune system.

A gently paced weekly morning yoga session for people who want physical strength, health and flexibility without doing strenuous sequences of postures. Based on classical hatha yoga and informed by physiotherapy and modern yoga therapy, these classes are suitable for regular yoga practitioners as well as people new to yoga.
After a very long absence from yoga (36 years) I decided to take it up again. I joined Liz’s class for over 40′s. Am absolutely loving it…. the location couldn’t be more perfect. We practice yoga looking out over the surf as it crashes onto Warriewood Beach! No need for music…. Sound of the surf is beautiful. The classes are small and intimate which gives us the chance to get individual attention when practicing the various poses. Since joining 6 months ago I notice my strength and flexibility have improved under the sensitive teaching of Liz.

Ageless Yoga for Beginners New
Our Ageless yoga class on Wednesdays has a pretty regular following of experienced ageless yogis, which can be strong for newbies who need extra time and attention to alignment, strength building and injury prevention.
A class with a gentle pace, with more assistance and easier movement transitions, Ageless Yoga for Beginners at 11am is more appropriate for mature adults keen to recommence yoga or try it for the first time.

Mindful Hatha – A moderate level yoga class with Katie New
Thursdays 9:30am -10:45am
Thursday’s class draws on traditional hatha postures which are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques, restorative postures and meditation are also integrated to provide a balanced class.
The classes are designed to work with an anatomical and physiological awareness of the body, creating a space for you to move mindfully and truly make the practice your own. A combination of static and flowing asana are woven throughout the class allowing you to transition from pose to pose, linking movement with the breath.
Katie offers a variety of modifications to encourage you to find your most comfortable posture and also works with a trauma informed lens. Every person is invited to participate at their own pace and in a way that feels most comfortable to them. Students are not physically adjusted in class unless requested.
Know that you will leave feeling centered, connected and present.

Progressive Yoga New
Thursdays 7:30- 8:45pm
Take your practice to the next level! Learn a more challenging series of postures and advance your practice in an energising group environment. Our Progressive class is the most dynamic evening class on our timetable. Not recommended for total beginners but those with a regular practice. Within the structure of the sequences you will also work on inversions such as handstands and headstands, deeper backbends and more complex , challenging variations of postures , pranayama and meditation.
Yoga helps to develop strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, increase energy, and enhance the ability to deal with stress. When students undertake a more regular practice, it’s important they know how to respond to the body as it is in the moment, and not be attached to where they would like it to be in the future or where it was in the past. In this way, students learn to generate energy rather than block it, with the focus on meditative flow, to ultimately create a practice that gives the best benefits long term. We also recommend committing to at least one other class per week to fully benefit from this class’s progressive nature.
